Very good Product and Great Price !,
I am very happy with this purchase. Product arrived in great condition. Has a nice screen and the battery lasts for days between charges, it also has dvi port, micro sd slot, usb port, and has good network connectivity. For wireless I can be at the opposite end of my house from my WAP and still have full bars. I mainly wanted to use as an ereader and to watch youtube videos, and as a occaisional internet browser, but want to eventually install flash so that I can go to some sites where I have access to online classes. This unit is the KLU Android Tablet manufactured by Curtis International. Has a fast processor. Came running version 2.1 and has some useful installed software already onboard. Version 2.1 is a good operating system and newer than you will get with many of the other Androids out there for sale currently at this price as of April 2011. This Tablet can be upgraded. The currently installed Android 2.1 version does not run Android market at this time so you will need to download any Android packages you want and copy apk files to a micro SD card in order to install on your Klu Android Tablet. This is not that difficult. There is an apk installer program on this tablet which is nice, it also has a nice browser, you can watch Youtube videos, and more. I have since installed Kindle, Kobo, and Nook and some other stuff on this tablet. The kindle software does have some issues running on this tablet and sometimes your purchased kindle books will force kindle to close and you may in some cases have to re-register, this also happens on other tablets, and you must download the book you purchased again several times until it finally runs again. Yes that is annoying but that may be more of an issue of the 2.1 Android OS, or it may be the Kindle software I am not sure. My plan is to at some point in the future root this device and upgrade to another version of Android such as 2.2 or 2.3, and eventually 3.0, all of which should run on this Tablet. I think overall it is a good unit for the price and I highly recommend it.

|Great Tablet, Great Price (Period),
The first thing that I notice about Apple products is the beauty, and second thing that I notice about Apple products is the cost. If I was swimming in money, I would still think twice about buying a product that is as expensive as an Ipad. So when I started looking at alternatives, I was surprised to see that the KLU was really affordable, and with a fast processor, 4GB of storage, and a Micro SD card reader (Micro SD up to 32GB no less), I thought that the price for the product was more then reasonable. Once the tablet got to my house, I didn’t waste any time trying it out.
No Android Market, no word processor, no spreadsheet. OH NO! Did I make a mistake?
Not really, it still has WiFi, it has a video player that plays movie formats that a lot of tablet computers don’t, it has a sweet audio player, and it has an E-reader. I guess I can live without the rest…but wait, the Curtis website [...] has a firmware update that puts several applications on your tablet, including the Andriod Market. I also discovered [...], which also has several android applications ready to download. Now I have everything I wanted in a tablet, and it cost me hundreds of dollars less then an Ipad. I am so happy with my purchase, that I put a second one in the cart for my daughter’s birthday, who has been bugging me everyday to play with mine ever since I got it.
The bottom line. If you want a tablet computer that has more potential then you can imagine, at a cost that will not require you to rent your downstairs bedroom out to a strainger, then this is a good tablet to get. But you decide for yourself what is best for you. Happy hunting.

I BOUGHT THIS FROM AMAZON, FOR MY 4 YEAR OLD AND SHE LOVES IT, SHE CAN ACCESS EVERYTHING AND RECORD HER LITTLE SONGS ON THE RECORD FEATURE WHICH IS EASY TO LEARN, AND SHE CAN WATCH HER FAVORITE DISNEY MOVIES ON THIS LITTLE BUT BIG DEVICE.
SHE JUST KNEW IT WAS FOR HER, SHE SAYS MOM ITS JUST MY SIZE. IT KEEPS HER QUIET FOR HOURS AT A TIME. IM IN THE PROCESS OF ORDERING A COUPLE MORE FOR MY OLDER KIDS WHO SWARM AROUND AND TRY TO TAKE IT FROM THE BABY.
ALSO THEY CAN READ THEIR FAVORITE BOOKS ON IT.. ITS GREAT NO NEED FOR THEIR E-READER, I JUST TRADED THEM IN SO I CAN PURCHASE MORE OF THESE KLU’S. ALSO I GET MORE FOR MY MONEY. WHAT MORE CAN U ASK FOR.AND THEIR IN COLOR,THEIR E-READER IS BLACK AND WHITE.
